NECIT Services Ltd is seeking a full-time administrator to join our friendly and fast-paced team at our HQ in Belmont Industrial Estate, Durham. This is a full-time, permanent, office-based role providing administrative support across all departments (Certification, Inspection, and NDT Testing.)

You’ll be working with an award-winning company known for its high standards, global reach, and commitment to developing the next generation of Testing, Inspection and Certification professionals.

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Salary £25,000 per annum
  • 5% employers pension contributions
  • 28 days annual leave (+1 day per year for every year of service)
  • Ability to join private medical & dental insurance Scheme

Must Have

Education/Knowledge, Skills and Work Experience Requirements

  • Provide administrative support across all departments (Certification, Inspection, and NDT Testing)
  • Maintain accurate records, logs, and databases using internal systems
  • Draft and format reports, certificates and documentation with high attention to detail
  • Support customer communication, scheduling and internal coordination
  • Help with ordering supplies, filing, scanning and general office duties
  • Exceptional time management skills: the ability to prioritise, multi-task and meet deadlines without dropping the ball
  • Strong organisational skills: methodical and detail-oriented in everything you do
  • Excellent written and verbal communication: clear, professional, and accurate
  • High attention to detail: especially in document formatting, spelling and data accuracy
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Proactive attitude: you take initiative and solve problems independently
  • Ability to support technical teams: no engineering knowledge required, just confidence working with technical documents
  • Friendly and professional approach: you’ll be the go-to support for multiple departments
