NECIT supported a global electrical vehicle manufacturer in the development of a new production plant by sourcing expert inspectors to witness various inspection processes
This client is one of our newest, and is a word-wide electrical vehicle manufacturer and sustainable energy company.
The project is the construction of one of the most advanced high-volume electric vehicle production plants in the world, said to be capable of producing up to 2 million cars per year.
The client required a company who could maintain their quality standards by way of providing expert vendor inspections, ensuring the project remains on schedule. NECIT were asked to provide highly qualified inspectors close to the vendor location both in Turkey and Italy to monitor and evaluate the construction process of the plant during manufacturing, and verify that it is being built in accordance with design specifications.
NECIT selected the required personnel to witness Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT’s) during the construction as well as witness and provide reports on other various inspection activities such as; Electrical Safety Tests, Vibration Tests, Air Volume Measurement Tests, External Static Pressure Measurement Tests, DX Control Tests and Automation Scenario Tests.
Our QA/QC Inspectors were able to support this major project by ensuring the schedule was kept and the clients high standards were maintained.
As always, NECIT provided multi-skilled inspectors to witness various different inspection activities during construction, meaning that our inspectors could provide expert knowledge on all activities taking place. As a result, NECIT provided the client with a cost effective and flexible solution thanks to our multi-skilled personnel. Due to our thorough onboarding process, our people know what they are doing and need minimal supervision to deliver the project requirements and reports to a high standard.
The QA/QC Inspectors NECIT sourced to help support the progress of this project were able to safely and successfully carry out the requirements to a high standard, conforming to project schedule. NECIT inspectors and in house coordination team provided fast and accurate reporting thanks to their excellent industry knowledge, guaranteeing effective communication which kept the client, vendor, inspector and NECIT on the same page during the inspection process. Thanks to the strong performance of our Inspector in Italy, the client requested if he could stay on and carry out some further work which was not included in the original requirements.
