Chineme Christian Ofoma is the latest NECIT inspector to take our rapid fire ‘Meet the Inspector’ Q&A.
Since 2010
I specialise in Mechanical and Electrical Inspections
One of the main things which motivates me is sharing the wealth of experience I have picked up over the many years I have spent in the industry. After studying for many years at University and achieving numerous certifications, I am motivated to see my hard work pay off and be the best inspector possible.
I would say adapting to different Vendors can sometimes be a challenge.
Inspectors are the ‘eyes and ears’ of clients. Inspectors help to reduce economic loss in the long run for clients and are important in preventing accidents and emergencies from possible failed equipment on site. We play a vital part in maintaining clients high standards.
A top quality Inspector certainly needs an eye for detail. We need to effectively follow clients instructions and vendor procedures, ensuring that project specifications are met.
I have been involved in many interesting and enjoyable projects with NECIT. There are too many to choose from and I hope for many more!
The entire NECIT team are polite and supportive, I enjoy working with them for this reason. I am glad to be part of and support this growing company.
