NECIT Services Ltd has been honoured with a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade. We are among only 205 organisations nationally to receive a Queens Award and one of just 122 recognised in International Trade.
Everyone involved with NECIT Services are beyond thrilled and are so proud that our family business has been recognised with this award, especially after the difficulties the past year has brought to many.
Peter Lyons announced: “I am extremely honoured that NECIT Services have won the Queen’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade. Everyone at NECIT are immensely proud of what the business has achieved and that the services we are providing are being used on significant engineering projects all over the world. Being recognised for this very prestigious award is a real testament to the hard work from everyone at NECIT, from the Board, to our associates, our employees through to our field inspectors, all working together to make a truly global company with its roots firmly established in British soil. The best is still yet to come”.
Cherelle Lyons added: “To see all our hard work recognised in this way is fantastic. It’s a proud moment, not just for Peter and me, but for everyone associated with NECIT Services. I think that we stood out by being a small family business that has remained true to our North East roots despite growing into a global leader in inspection, auditing and expediting services”.
The Lord Lieutenant for Tyne & Wear, Sue Winfield OBE added…
“I want to congratulate those businesses in Tyne & Wear for their success in receiving the Queen’s Award for Enterprise. I am delighted for them and it is great recognition for their work. I am particularly pleased to see NECIT Services receive its award”
