On May 4th 2025, NECIT Global Inspection Services proudly sponsored the categories of Men’s and Women’s Goal of the Season at Sunderland Football Club’s Annual Awards Evening.
Every year, the club gathers to honour the achievements of SAFC’s dedicated football teams during the preceding season with an evening of awards and celebrations before the final round of fixtures at the end of the month. NECIT Services attended the commemoration hosted by local star and the Stadium of Light’s resident match day DJ Frankie Francis at the Beacon of Light, which recognised the goals – both literal and figurative – of SAFC and SAFC Women during the 2024/2025 season.
The NECIT Global Inspection Expertise Men’s Goal of the Season went to Eliezer Mayenda for his outstanding goal against Bristol City, while SAFC Women’s Libbi McInnes scored two trophies, including the NECIT Global Inspection Expertise Women’s Goal of the Season for her strike against Durham.
