Since 1996, the American Welding Society has established April as National Welding Month, and celebrated welding in all its forms throughout the month to build community and highlight the importance of this essential service.
The AWS has designated April 2025 as, “Connected by Welding: Bridging Communities and Industries.” In 2025, NECIT would like to blaze the trail for the adoption of this event here in the UK. Welding is a truly global industry, which plays an important role throughout the field of engineering.
NECIT’s team works with welders worldwide to provide quality co-ordination and delivery of welding certification, vendor inspection and consultancy services. We’re raising the bar for welding recognition across the board, as we understand the hard work and expertise of this profession. Our Weld Procedure and Welder Qualification Testing Certification is instrumental in the development and training of present and future welders, and we’re proud to play such an integral role.
