CLIENT

The client in question is a company dedicated to inspection, quality control and testing services across the world, based in the United Kingdom.

WHY DID THE CLIENT NEED US?

Our client required an expert inspector with knowledge of Water Pumps and previous experience inspecting String Tests.

Thanks to NECIT’s scope of multi-skilled inspectors across the globe, we were able to source an inspector close to the vendor location to complete the required inspection.

BENEFITS TO OUR CLIENT

  • Highly Qualified QA/QC inspector
  • Cost effective solution for our client
  • Flexible and bespoke approach
  • Focus on clients needs
  • Fast and efficient communication from our central co-ordination team
  • Maintained our clients high standards on-site and acted as their eyes and ears

WHAT DID NECIT PROVIDE?

Our inspector provided expert knowledge to complete this inspection. The Pump was tested for head, flow, efficiency and power as per ISO 9906:2011 requirements. Electromagnetic Flowmeters were used to measure the flow rate, Pressure Transducers were used to measure the pressure from the pump suction, and a Torque Transducer was used to measure the mechanical power which drives the pump.

RESULTS

All tests carried out on the Water Pumps met the Inspection Acceptance Criteria and zero non-conformances were raised on the product.

As a result, NECIT contributed to allowing only high quality products to go out into the field. Our team effectively inspected this piece of equipment to ensure safety and efficiency when in use.
