1. How long have you been working as an inspector?

I have been an inspector since 2005.

2. What are your specialist skills and certifications?

I have a variety of skills and certifications including; BSc Electromechanical Technology, MEng- Mechanical Engineering, MSc Oil and Gas Engineering, ASME IX Welding and Brazing.

3. What motivates you most about being an inspector and why?

Something which motivates me in my job as an inspector is contributing to the quality delivery of projects, as well as ensuring the safety of equipment to meet clients satisfaction. Knowing my work helps contribute to client satisfaction is something which motivates me in every job I am a part of.

4. Explain in your own words why inspectors are so important in the world of engineering.

Our role as an inspector is important because it is our job to guarantee the quality delivery of engineering projects. Without us, quality is hard to maintain.

5. What do you think makes a top quality inspector and why?

Inspectors need to have a keen eye for detail and strict compliance to client specifications and standards. This helps ensure the quality production of the equipment.

6. What is the most interesting project you have been involved in with NECIT Services?

I would say the inspection of Steel Tubing Flying Leads (STFL).

7. What do you like the most about working with the NECIT Services Team and why?

The NECIT team have great respect for us as inspectors and they always make prompt payments.
