Valentine is the latest multi-skilled NECIT inspector to take part in our Rapid Fire Inspector Q & A.
I have been an inspector since 2005.
I have a variety of skills and certifications including; BSc Electromechanical Technology, MEng- Mechanical Engineering, MSc Oil and Gas Engineering, ASME IX Welding and Brazing.
Something which motivates me in my job as an inspector is contributing to the quality delivery of projects, as well as ensuring the safety of equipment to meet clients satisfaction. Knowing my work helps contribute to client satisfaction is something which motivates me in every job I am a part of.
Our role as an inspector is important because it is our job to guarantee the quality delivery of engineering projects. Without us, quality is hard to maintain.
Inspectors need to have a keen eye for detail and strict compliance to client specifications and standards. This helps ensure the quality production of the equipment.
I would say the inspection of Steel Tubing Flying Leads (STFL).
The NECIT team have great respect for us as inspectors and they always make prompt payments.
